What we collect, and why

Last updated 3 July 2026

Who is responsible

Nicolas Limare, operator of lmapping.com, is the data controller. For anything about your data, email nicozefrench@gmail.com.

What we collect

When you request early access, we collect your first name, last name, and email address. We also record the date you consented and the version of this notice you agreed to. That is all. We do not ask for a phone number, and we set no tracking cookies.

Why we collect it

Only to add you to the Lmapping early-access list and send you occasional updates about Lmapping. We do not sell or share your data, and we do not use it for anything else.

Our legal basis

Your consent, given through the opt-in checkbox on the form. You can withdraw it at any time, and we act on it (see your rights below).

Analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views, and PostHog (hosted in the European Union) to understand which steps people take. Both are configured cookieless: they set no cookies and build no persistent profile of you. We also use Google Analytics 4, which does set cookies, so it stays off by default and only turns on if you accept the cookie banner. You can change your choice any time by clearing your browser storage for this site.

Where your data lives

Our database is hosted by Neon in the United States, and the site by Vercel, a US company, both under Standard Contractual Clauses. Our product analytics run on PostHog, hosted in the European Union. We keep a data processing agreement with each.

How long we keep it

Until you ask us to remove you, or until the early-access list is closed, whichever comes first.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, or delete your data, or withdraw your consent, at any time. Email nicozefrench@gmail.com and we will handle it.

Changes to this notice

If anything material changes, we update the date at the top of this page.
